Igor Drljača was born in Sarajevo, and has lived in Canada since 1993. He completed his Master’s Degree in Film Production at York University. His award-winning short films include WOMAN IN PURPLE and THE FUSE: OR HOW I BURNED SIMON BOLIVAR, which have screened at hundreds of festivals. His critically acclaimed feature film KRIVINA premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012. In 2014, he co-produced Albert Shin’s IN HER PLACE. THE WAITING ROOM, his second feature, premiered at the Festival del Film Locarno and had its North American premiere at TIFF.
