Florian Weghorn is the Programme Manager of Berlinale Talents, where he is responsible for the annual summit and talent development event, and serves as the programme advisor for the seven offshoots of Berlinale Talents that take place around the world. He joined the Berlin International Film Festival in 2002, initially working for the Generations section. From 2008 to 2014, he served as the section’s co-director, and as a curator of short and feature-length films. Weghorn is a member of the selection committee for the Berlinale Competition. Weghorn is the author and editor of several publications addressing film and youth culture.
