Boaz Frankel was born in 1985 in Herzliya, Israel. He graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film School, Jerusalem, in 2016, and studied Video Art at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. His first film, THE MESSENGER (co-directed with Yair Agmon), was part of the large school project FOOTSTEPS IN JERUSALEM, which screened all over the world. During his studies, he also made the short film ONE LAST MEMORY. His diploma film, 212, was named Best Student Short at the Haifa International Film Festival, and was screened in numerous other festivals. Frankel is currently editing two Israeli feature films, and also edited many other award-winning short films during and after his studies.
