Robert De Niro opens 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival

The first recipient of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo – Lifetime Achievement Award Robert De Niro declared the 22nd Sarajevo Film Festival officially open. The formal ceremony took place in a jam-packed National Theatre With a renowned Bosnia and Herzegovina actress Alena Džebo as master of ceremonies .

After the opening ceremony the audience enjoyed Martin Scorsese’s legendary “Taxi Driver” which has been restored for its 40th anniversary.
