Sarajevo’s CineLink Industry Days announces first projects selected to its Co-Production Market and Drama strands

CineLink’s activities for this year have continued (almost) as planned, amid the pandemic uncertainty.

Following the first of the two annual calls for projects - 8 feature films and 5 drama series were selected and invited to take part in the CineLink preparatory workshop that took place “on-line” at the end of April 2020. The filmmakers behind the selected projects spent two weeks working with the CineLink staff and its regular team of tutors and consultants on further development of their projects.

Amra Bakšić Čamo, Head of CineLink said: „This year's CineLink will not only be unique due to the ongoing pandemic, but because it will gather a new generation of authors that demand to be heard through strong, gripping cinematic storytelling. The line-up features first and second time directors’ projects and their common trait is wittiness, passion and thought-provoking. This year’s CineLink Drama selection features a very diverse line-up and it is a great indicator that this part of the industry is keeping its pace with the rest of the continent. “

The second annual call for CineLink Co-Production Marke  is now open. We are looking for feature-length fiction projects from established authors, in advanced stages of development and financing, pursuing a good market access point in CineLink to further their conversion and placement effort.
The deadline for application is June 3, 2020.
