Jury members for the Selection of the Sarajevo Short Film Nominee for the European Film Awards 2015 are:

LAURENT CROUZEIX
Co-Executive Director of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival & Market (France)

Laurent Crouzeix is Co-Executive Director of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival & Market. He is Programmer of the International Competition and Project Manager on the shortfilmdepot.com online platform. Crouzeix is also Coordinator of Euro Connection, the co-production meetings for shorts, which he launched in 2009 as a part of the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand. He organizes various targeted industry meetings and implements partnerships with other festivals and markets.

He’s regularly invited to industry events as an expert, in Europe and beyond.


MARINA KOŽUL
25 FPS Festival film programmer and producer (Croatia)

Marina Kožul works for the Croatian non-profit organization25 FPS Association for Audio-Visual Research in Zagreb, whose activities include informal education and publishing. Its main project is the 25 FPS Festival, international film festival dedicated to experimental, innovative and artists’ film and video, where she works as one of the programmers and producers. She has curated programs for festivals, art cinemas in Zagreb and other Croatian cities, and promoted Croatian experimental film, video and animation at European and international film and media events. Since 2012 she is engaged in the International Film Festival Rotterdam as a consultant for short films.


TOM SHOVAL
Director (Israel)

Tom Shoval was born in 1981 Israel. He graduated from the Sam Spiegel School for Cinema in 2007. His short films, THE HUNGRY HEART, SHRED OF HOPE, and I WILL DRINK MY TEARS was screened at film festivals around the world, winning numerous prizes. His first feature YOUTH premiered in the Berlinale 2013 and after that at more than 100 festivals. Film was awarded with New talent award at the Taipei film festival and won three major prizes in the Jerusalem film festival. Film was also nominated for the Israeli Ophir award.

Shoval was chosen for the Rolex Mentors and protégés Arts Initiative by director Alejandro Gonzales Iñárritu who will be working with him as his mentor during this year.

Shoval is the co-writer of short film AYA which was nominated for Academy award.
