Hana Jušić

Director, Screenwriter (Croatia)

Hana Jušić obtained a Master’s degree in Film and TV Directing programme from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She has written and directed several short and documentary films, which have been screened at numerous student and top European film festivals. Jušić's short films include CHILL, which premiered in competition at the Oberhausen Short Film Festival, GNATS, TICKS AND BEES, which won the Croatian National Oktavian and Jelena Rajković Film Awards, and TERRARIUM, the winner of an Oktavijan Award and the Golden Pram Award at the Zagreb Film Festival. She also wrote the screenplay for Dražen Žarkovic’s feature-length MISTERIOUS BOY. Her screenwriting and directing feature debut QUIT STARING AT MY PLATE had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival. The film was developed at the TorinoFilmLab Script&Pitch and TFL-Frame Work programmes.
