Website terms of Use

This website is offered to you by the Sarajevo Film Festival (hereinafter: “SFF”). The conditions set out below apply to the content and use of the SFF website. By using the SFF website, the visitor (hereinafter: “User”) accepts these conditions.


Use

The User may only consult and use the website and the information, data, software, services and other content offered by SFF and third parties on the SFF website (hereinafter jointly: “Content”) for purposes of obtaining information. It is not permitted to use the website and the Content in a way that could cause harm to other internet users or SFF or that may adversely affect the proper functioning of the website or the Content. Nor is it permitted to make use of parts of the website that are not accessible to the general public, under a false name or by avoiding the security measures.


Accuracy and completeness

Although we make every effort to provide correct and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee that the Content is correct and complete at the moment the User consults this, nor that the Content will still be complete and accurate following the passage of time. No rights or obligations may be derived from the Content.

 

SFF is not liable for (a) damages ensuing from inaccuracies, incompleteness or unavailability of the Content; (b) damages ensuing from the use of the Content; and/or (c) damages ensuing from problems caused by, or inherent to, the dissemination of information via the internet, such as malfunctions or interruptions to or errors or delays in the provision of information or services by SFF or by the User to SFF through the SFF website or by any other electronic means.


Availability

SFF undertakes to make its website and the Content as available as possible, but accepts no responsibility for any consequences of (temporary) unavailability of the website and/or (parts of) the Content.


Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks on the SFF website may lead to websites and/or servers that are maintained by parties other than SFF. SFF offers no guarantees and accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to the Content on such websites and/or servers.


Intellectual property rights

The Intellectual property rights to the website and the various elements of the Content, including the texts, photos, word trademarks, pictorial marks, photos and the graphic design of the website, are held by SFF and/or its licensors. It is not permitted to reproduce the Content or make this public without prior written permission from SFF, unless this is technically essential to consult the website and the Content and to use this in accordance with these conditions.

SFF reserves the right to resist the placing of links to its website, in particular to parts of the website other than the homepage (deep links) and links that lead to internet users seeing the SFF website in a frame on another page (framed links).


Information provided by you

SFF cannot guarantee that e-mails or other electronic messages sent to it will be received on time and will not process or accept any liability for the consequences of failure to receive or late receipt or failure to process or late processing thereof.

User agrees that SFF may use information sent to SFF by User freely and User guarantees that this information will not violate the rights of third parties.

SFF reserves the right to amend and/or remove from the website information submitted by you, in the event that information offered or already placed is in conflict with the law, the interests of other internet users, other third parties or SFF’s General Terms & Conditions.


Products and services
 
A festival ticket for screenings is a document with which guests have access to festival cinema locations depending on the ticket they buy.
 
Festival Accreditation is a card that allows entry to various Festival events and easier access to tickets for screenings. Different accreditations are available, which have different access rules.
 
Golden Card is a card that provides easier access to festival events and locations, VIP entrance to the two largest festival locations, a unique sense of the festival atmosphere, the opportunity to meet Festival guests, exclusive benefits only for Golden Card users, and invitations to film premieres at Meeting Point cinema throughout the year and much more.
 
The invoice for all products and services of the Sarajevo Film Festival is charged in Convertible Marks - KM.
 


Product and service delivery policy
 
If you buy your tickets online, tickets will be sent via e-mail within a few minutes of your purchase. Each e-ticket contains a unique code that will allow access to the screening. Just show your e-mail attachment or printed e-tickets at the venue entrance.
The maximum number of tickets to be purchased per screening is four (4)
• Tickets can be paid in cash and via MasterCard or VISA card;
• All payments will be made in Convertible Marks (KM). When debiting your card, the amount indicated on the Web Shop is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate applied by credit card operators. Due to these conversions, there may be a small difference in the price charged, compared to the price reported on the Web Shop.
 
The Golden Card is collected at the Golden Card Lounge, according to the instructions of the Golden Card coordinator.
 

Refund
 
Refunds for tickets purchased or replacement tickets for other screenings to the same amount already paid are available no later than 24 hours prior to the original screening schedule, as follows:
•  If the Festival organisers have made an official announcement about a screening cancellation
•  If the screening is delayed by more than 30 minutes with no prior announcement of a delay or a relocation of the screening; in such cases, the audience is kindly requested to contact Festival staff
 
Refunds are possible within 14 days of purchasing the Gold Card. When refunding money, in the case of foreign transactions, the bank's commission is deducted from the refund.
 

Customer (cardholder) data retention policy
 
It is emphasized that when visiting www.sff.ba, personal data remains confidential, unless you voluntarily wish to disclose it. We undertake that, except for the purposes provided by law, we will not give to other persons the information we have received from you, nor sell it or give it to third parties in any way. At certain places within the www.sff.ba site, it collects the user's personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, ...) at a certain time. Sarajevo Film Festival guarantees that the data it collects will not be sold or given in any way to third parties.
 

Policy for working with card transactions and data provided by the cardholder
 
If you make a payment with payment cards after confirming the order, you will be redirected to the online billing page, where you enter data from the payment card and make the payment. If the transaction is successful, you will be returned to the Office Shoes Web Shop page with a notification that the payment was made successfully. In the event of a failed payment, you will be returned to the Office Shoes Web Shop page with information about the failed payment and you will be able to repeat the payment or choose another payment method.
 
The confidentiality of your data is protected and ensured by the use of SSL encryption. Pages for
Internet billing is provided using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit data encryption. SSL encryption is the process of encrypting data to prevent unauthorized access during its transmission.
This enables secure transfer of information and prevents unauthorized access to data during communication between the user's computer and the WebPay service, and vice versa. WebPay service and financial institutions exchange data using a virtual private network (VPN), which is protected from unauthorized access.
Monri Payment Gateway is certified according to the PCI DSS Level 1 security standard prescribed by Visa and MasterCard rules.
 
The merchant does not store credit card numbers and the numbers are not available to unauthorized persons.


Amendments

SFF reserves the right to amend the content of its website and these Terms of Use, in part of in full, without prior announcement.


Applicable law and competent court

These Conditions of Use and use of the SFF website are subject to the law of the Bosnia and Herzegovina. Disputes concerning these conditions and/or use of the SFF website will be adjudicated exclusively by the competent court in Sarajevo.
