Sarajevo City of Film 2013

Sarajevo City of Film discovers talents, produces and showcases their films.

The most perspective short filmmaker of the 6th edition of the Sarajevo City of Film project will be granted financial award of 2000 EUR from our main project partner Atlantic Grupa. This award is aimed for a development of the author`s following project and is meant to recognize a rising star of the cinema and give wings to his/her following artistic achievements.

The second award for the Sarajevo City of Film projects is sponsored by British Council. This award allow talents to present themselves in the UK, at Encounters International Film Festival in Bristol.  Encounters is internationally recognized showcases and meeting points for emerging talent, and seeks to promote the importance of short film as a means to develop the next generation of filmmakers and animators. The winning author of the fourth British Council Short Film Award will spend several days as a professional delegate at Encounters, immersing with the UK film industry and creating paths for new and bigger creative and professional achievements.
