Nominations Announced for the Adriatic Film Awards 2025
The nominations have been announced for this year’s Adria Film and TV Awards, which will take place on October 25 in Porto Montenegro. These awards build on the tradition of the Heart of Sarajevo Awards for TV series, expanding them with a new concept that also includes film achievements.
The nominations and award winners are decided by a professional jury of film and television experts, members of the Adria Film & TV Academy, which was founded by members of the Adria Festivals Network – Sarajevo Film Festival, Auteur Film Festival Belgrade, and Zagreb Film Festival. The establishment of the Academy has created a unique regional platform dedicated to promoting and recognizing outstanding film and television works and their creators, while the awards honour the most significant film achievements and TV series from the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
Producers and rights holders of feature and documentary films and TV series from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia were eligible to apply to the public call.
The official Adriatic Film Awards ceremony will take place on October 25, 2025, in Porto Montenegro, the event’s main partner.
The professional jury consists of 560 members from different countries and professions within the film industry.
