Regional premiere of the film DJ AHMET

The Competition Programme - Feature Film of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival continues with the regional premiere of the film DJ AHMET by Georgi M. Unkovski, tonight at 7 pm at the National Theater Sarajevo. The film DJ AHMET premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

 

Ahmet, a fifteen-year-old boy from a remote Yuruk village in North Macedonia, finds refuge in music while navigating his father’s expectations, a conservative community, and his first experience in love—with a girl who is already promised to someone else.
