Swedish Producer Delegation at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival
The Sarajevo Film Festival is proud to announce this year’s Spotlight on Sweden, presented in partnership with the Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Institute, Embassy of Sweden in Sarajevo, Göteborg Film Festival, and Film i Väst.
Sweden, and the Nordics more broadly, have long been a valuable reference point for Southeast Europe when it comes to sustainable public funding models, strong international positioning, and consistent investment in talent development. This year’s spotlight aims to deepen the ties between the two regions by creating new co-production opportunities and offering space for practical exchange among professionals working across the film and drama series ecosystem.
A delegation of fifteen Swedish film and TV professionals will take part in CineLink Industry Days, joining over 1,200 accredited guests from Europe and beyond. In addition to tailored meetings, networking, and scouting new stories, the delegation will also engage in a panel discussion focused on co-productions between Sweden and Southeast Europe, highlighting best practices across development, financing, and international rollout, with a special focus on drama series. Swedish delegates will also take part in other CineLink Industry Days Training and Skills activities as workshop experts.
