AFAC
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture

The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) was established in 2007 by local cultural philanthropists as an independent initiative that funds individuals and organizations in the fields of cinema, performing arts, literature, music and visual arts, while facilitating cultural exchange, research and cooperation across the Arab world and globally.
In the field of cinema, AFAC currently has three programs offering financial and professional support: a yearly General Call for Cinema for all film types, and two special programs- a documentary fund (ADP) for Arab documentary projects tackling social realities and Crossroads for emerging Arab directors working on projects related to possibility and change.
