7th Sarajevo Talent Campus Programme Announced

Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sarajevo Film Festival’s programme for emerging film professionals, which was established in cooperation with the Berlin Talent Campus and the Berlin International Film Festival, is happy to announce a seven-day programme of lectures, workshops, panel discussions and pitching sessions, intended for aspiting film professionals.

The 7th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be the host to a great number of  eminent professionals from the world of film, such as: Leos Carax, Danny Glover, Danis Tanović, Amra Bakšić Čamo, Stefan Arndt, Uliks Fehmiu, Leon Lučev, Simon Perry, Patricia Pisters, Jean-Michel Frodon, Dan Fainaru, Jurica Pavičić, Gyula Gazdag, Ula Stöckl, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer, Selina Ukwuoma, Emir Baigazin, Rebecca Cammisa and many others.

As it was the case in previous years, the 7th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be held during the Sarajevo Film Festival, between the 18th and the 24th of August. The programme of the Campus will be attended by 66 selected participants from 15 Southeast European countries, as well as by 10 young producers from Germany, whose attendance is the result of cooperation with the Robert Bosch Foundation.  Their presence at the Campus lays a foundation for possible future inter-European film co-production.

Also, this year, beside the already existing programmes for actors, producers, directors, and scriptwriters, the Sarajevo Talent Campus continues with the programme for film critics, in order to form a critical group whose work will in the course of time follow and improve the work of up-and-coming film professionals. This year, the 1st Sarajevo Talent Press is implemented in collaboration with Talentpress.org, FIPRESCI and Festivalists.

The aim of the 7th Sarajevo Talent Campus is to maintain the already defined balance between lectures, panel discussions and conversations on the one hand, and workshops and practical training sessions on the other. Sarajevo Talent Campus aims not only to establish a network between emerging film professionals, but also to link younger authors with more experienced filmmakers. In that way, we offer our Campus participants more complete overview of the current trends in the world of film industry.
