The screening of the film SURVIVED EARTH

The film SURVIVING EARTH directed by Thea Gajić was shown tonight at the UNIQA Open Air Cinema Stari Grad, in the selection of the Open Air Premiere of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival. Debut feature film by Thea Gajić, SURVIVING EARTH, had its premiere at SXSW in 2025. It was one of eight British films to be presented in the Cannes Great 8 Showcase.

 

A Yugoslav refugee and harmonica player in Bristol builds a new life and forms a Balkan music band, but past trauma threatens to destroy his relationships and the delicate peace he's found with his daughter.
