First set of Sarajevo City of Film Fund objectives is cultural:
• Support to feature fiction documentary and animation films intended for theatrical release, which reflect the modern societies across the globe.
• Preserve and enhance respect for cultural differences, traditions and customs and devotion to principles of non-discrimination and tolerance.
• Support to works that can convey quality cultural memes through multiple media platforms
The second set of our objectives is economic:
• To open new markets for audio-visual works from former Yugoslavia and the Southeast Europe region and vice verse open the region to audio-visual works from the rest of Europe and the world.
• To foster new coproduction patterns.
• To increase the circulation of audio-visual works.
• To train and maintain a healthy talent base for the audio-visual industries.
• To encourage co-investment from other investors into new support schemes
• To encourage wide cross-territorial projects and adoption of best business practices
• To foster cooperation in the fields of cinema, broadcasting, video gaming and other new media
