Crossing Europe Film Festival Director, Austria

Christine Dollhofer is one of the most prominent figures of Austrian film industry. From 1992 to 1997, she was artistic and executive director of Viennese art house cinema Filmcasino. As artistic director of Austrian film festival Diagonale, from 1997 to 2004, she offered to the Festival’s audience a series of original, impressive, and surprising films from all over Europe. In 2004, Dollhofer established the Crossing Europe Film Festival in Linz, which soon became one of the most important film events in the region. She is a member of the management of Sixpack Film Company, and is working as a consultant for a distribution company Filmladen in Vienna.
