Kathrin Brinkmann was born in Iserlohn, Germany. She studied applied dramatic arts in Giesen. She started in the film industry as a freelancer, working on projects of the German culture channel 3sat. Kathrin is part of ZDF national. After a commissioning editor in the ARTE/THEMA within ZDF
Biljana Garvanlieva’s film “Macedonia Dream – A girl
and her Accordion” won the most important German Short Film Award “Goldene Lola”. The film received a Special
Mention Award at Zagreb Dox Festival and
the Gold Panda Award at the Sichuan TV Festival in China.
John Appel has worked as a professional cameraman/director since ‘87. In 2000, established a production company (VOF Appel&Honigmann). Appel is a Guest lecturer at the Dutch Film and Television Academy; Commissioning editor for HUMAN.
Stefano Strocchi is an Italian documentary director. His first documentary film as author/director titledOVERBOOKED premiered on PBS World. Worked with channels as Discovery Channel, ZDF/ARTE and National Geographic. In 2007 he founds his own production company MOVE Productions.
Luciano Barisone founded the magazine “Panoramiques”. He has collaborated at the Locarno International Film Festival and the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematohgrafica of Venice.He is an artistic director of Florence’s Festival dei Popoli and the director of Nyon’s Visions du Réel.
