Adna Špuren from Sarajevo won the "Films for Future" competition

Adna Špuren from Sarajevo made the best reel on the topic "Films for Future", a competition organized for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Sarajevo Film Festival, in partnership with UNESCO city of film Sarajevo, and the Green Club, which consists of Bosnian-Herzegovinian parliamentarians, with the support of the United Nations Development Program in BiH (UNDP BiH).

The five best 90-second videos were made by Adna Špuren from Sarajevo, Damir Rimac from Sarajevo, Ailana Softić from Živinice, Iman Duratbegović from Sarajevo and Asja Vreto from Rakovica. A small award ceremony will take place tomorrow from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the Festival Square. The prizes for the best video entries include an electric scooter, a bicycle, a tablet, a drone, and a backpack with a solar panel.

The competition was organized for young people aged 13 to 25 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the name "Films for Future".

The videos were required to address one of the following themes: What can young people do for a healthier and greener planet? How can they contribute to environmental conservation? How can they make positive changes in their community?

The winning video entries will be published on the social media platforms of the Sarajevo Film Festival, Sarajevo UNESCO City of Film, as well as the Green Club and UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The competition was organized with the aim of raising awareness of sustainable development and environmental protection for all of us and future generations.
