Cineplexx projectors will provide the audience with the best quality screenings at the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival

The more than decade-long successful partnership between the Sarajevo Film Festival and the Cineplexx cinema group continues this year as well.

In order for festival audiences to enjoy the highest quality screenings, Cineplexx will equip several festival locations of the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival with its projectors. From 11 to 18 August, more than 200 films will be screened with the highest quality equipment.

At the largest festival location, the Coca-Cola Open Air Cinema, the audience will enjoy the films being screened from the latest laser projector model, which meets the requirements of energy efficiency by all standards, in accordance with the commitment of the Sarajevo Film Festival to the Net Zero mission – a festival with zero pollution. 

The Cineplexx Sarajevo multiplex is also one of the locations of the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival. The festival audience at Cineplexx Sarajevo will have the opportunity to watch films from the following programs: Competition Program – Feature Film, Competition Program – Documentary Film, Competition Program – Short Film, Competition Program – Student Film, Series Previews, Kinoscope, Dealing with the Past, BH Film, Program of the Network of Festivals in the Adriatic Region, Sarajevo Film Festival Partners Presents and Special Screenings. The 15th edition of Human Rights Day at the 29th Sarajevo Film Festival will also be held in Cineplexx Sarajevo on Monday, August 14.

Cineplexx is an Austrian cinema group with over five decades of experience in the cinema industry. The Cineplexx network today consists of 62 multiplexes and six traditional cinemas, with two under construction, in Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Pristina, Greece, Romania and Italy, with more than 300 cinemas.

Thanks to this partnership, the audience of the Sarajevo Film Festival has the opportunity to experience the cinema experience in a quality way with state-of-the-art equipment.

The 29th Sarajevo Film Festival will take place from 11th to 18th of August 2023.
