Applications for Volunteering at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival Are Open

Applications for volunteering at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival are open, and online applications can be filled out until June 20, 2026.

Volunteering is an ideal opportunity to become part of this year's 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, which will be held from August 14 to 21, 2026.

 

The call for volunteering is open to everyone aged 16 and older, with the exception that minors (ages 16 to 18) must have the written consent of their parents/guardians. Adults will have priority in applications.

 

Technical preparation of the Festival, assistance during the reception, registration and accommodation of guests, work in the Festival and Press Centre, at the festival locations, are just some of the numerous opportunities offered to volunteers. With access to a certain number of screenings, volunteers are given the opportunity to work as a team, acquire and develop skills and knowledge, and gain practical experience in organizing and implementing a major cultural event.

 

 

- Are responsible, professional, reliable, and dedicated in performing their tasks,

- Are punctual in completing their tasks,

- Respect the rules, goals, mission, and values of the Sarajevo Film Festival,

- Regularly attend educational activities,

- Are willing to communicate and cooperate with volunteer coordinators and the Festival team.

 

After the Festival, volunteers will receive a certificate of volunteering at the Sarajevo Film Festival, which can be used as additional recognition for future education or work.

 

The joint work of volunteers from several countries contributes to the special atmosphere and success of the Sarajevo Film Festival. We wish them a warm welcome and successful work at the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival!
