Vlade Divac, the celebrated basketball player and NBA Hall of Fame inductee, met with young basketball fans and visitors at the Family Zone on Franca Lehara Street on Thursday, August 20. It was a unique opportunity for young athletes to hear firsthand about the journey of a sportsman who has achieved an exceptional international career.
“First of all, I’m very happy to be in Sarajevo. This is truly a major event, not only for film but for the entire region. I’m incredibly happy to see so many children playing sports. I hope that they take home from today’s meeting not only basketball memories but also the encouragement to take up any other sport. With regular hard work and a bit of talent, anyone can achieve great results,” Divac said.
