PETER VAN HOOF

Short Film Section Programmer of International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands

 Peter Van Hoof first worked at the Squat Cinema Filmhuis Cavia and after that as founder and programmer of Cinema De Balie, the independent cinema department of political cultural center De Balie in the heart of Amsterdam. He is one of the founders of Stichting De Filmbank: a small organization for promoting and distribution of Dutch Experimental Cinema that recently merged into the Eye Film Institute Netherlands. As programmer for the IFFR he is responsible for programming the Short Film section and as such he heads the Short Film selection committee.
