Frank W. Albers was born in Bremen,
Germany. While studying German and Scandinavian literature and cultural
sciences, he worked part-time for prestigious Berlin Film Festival. After
coming back from Central America where he did a comprehensive linguistic
research, Albers started working for TV Production Company in Berlin, where he
worked on very popular serials such as SCHREINEMAKERS LIVE, ILONA CHRISTEN, and
TAFF. He joined the team of respectable Robert Bosch Foundation in 2001. As a
programme manager for arts and culture Albers has to his credit the
establishment and development of the Co-production Prize for young filmmakers
from Germany and Eastern Europe. The Robert Bosch Foundation is one of the main
partners of the Sarajevo Talent Campus.
