Producer and founder of the First Hand Films Company, Switzerland
After she
graduated in film and TV production from the University of Tel Aviv, Esther Van
Messel joined the renowned company Warner Bros in Israel, and soon became the
Head of Distribution Department. Apart from running a successful company
representing around 200 films and producers from all over the world, Van Messel
has also worked as lecturer and consultant for numerous renowned world
festivals and organisations including EAVE Brussels, IDFA Amsterdam, MipDoc
Cannes, Cinemart Rotterdam, Berlinale Talent Campus, Eurodoc Montpellier,
Toronto Documentary Forum & HotDocs…
