In 2011 the Films of the Sarajevo City of Film Project Again at Festivals World Wide
Short films made within the framework of the Programme of 2011 Sarajevo City of Film Project, are already planning their first screenings at the world festivals.
Films EDINA made by Hungarian directress Nora Lakos and POSTHUMOUS made by Turkish director Cenk Erturk will be screened at Encounters Bristol International Film Festival mid November.
In parallel with festival presentations of the new SCF projects, the films shot within this project in previous years, continued their successful festival life.
Invitations to participate at world festivals, and the awards these films have been receiving, are another confirmation of the success of Sarajevo City of Film Project. Goal of this project is to give an opportunity for young talented filmmakers to shoot short films, but also to establish the network of contacts between the young filmmakers to form a basis of future cooperation and a guarantee of future of regional and European cinematography.
