LOST IN AFRICA Wins the Teen Arena Award

The Jury of the Teen Arena program unanimously decided that the award would go to the film LOST IN AFRICA by Vibeka Mausya.

The shocking story focuses on a boy who travels to Kenya with his mother. He gets lost looking for his football, while his mother is trying to find him in every way possible.

Adaleta Merkez, Adin Babić, Alma Moco, Arman Hasanbegović, Drita Selimović, Marijana Miličević and Zerina Turković were members of the Teen Arena jury.

The presentation of the award ended this year’s Teen Arena program of the Sarajevo Film Festival. A party with music and dancing was organized immediately after the award presentation ceremony.

Hip hop dancers and German composer FLO M entertained the audience. Members of the SOS Kinderdorf’s Herman Gmeiner Center joined FLO M in his performance of Ode to Joy in hip hop style.
