5th Sarajevo Talent Campus Programme Announced

Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sarajevo Film Festival’s programme for young film professionals, which was established in cooperation with the Berlin Talent Campus and the Berlin International Film Festival, is happy to announce a seven-day programme of lectures, workshops, panel discussions and pitching sessions, intended for young film professionals.

This year, the 5th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be the host to a great number of  eminent professionals from the world of film, such as: Philippe Bober, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer, Licia Eminenti, Cary Joji Fukunaga, Lucile Hadžihalilović, Olivia Hetreed, Alby James, Kate Leys, Leon Lučev, Joshua Marston, Pierre-Alain Meier, Zeynep Özbatur, Vladimir Perišić, Erwin M. Schmidt, Katriel Schory, Abdulah Sidran, Frank Stehling, Béla Tarr, Wim Wenders and many others.

As it was the case in previous years, the 5th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be held during the Sarajevo Film Festival, between 24th and 30st of July. The programme of the Campus will be attended by 65 selected participants from 13 Southeast European countries, as well as by 10 young producers from Germany, whose attendance is the result of cooperation with the Robert Bosch Foundation.  Their presence at the Campus lays a foundation for possible future inter-European film co-production. Group of students from the Academy of Applied Arts in Hamburg, led by director Wim Wendes, as well as a delegation of young film professionals from Georgia, whose attendance is organized by the Georgian Film Centre, will have the status of the guests of the 17th edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival and the 5th Sarajevo Talent Campus.

The aim of the 5th Sarajevo Talent Campus is to maintain the already defined balance between lectures, panel discussions and conversations on the one hand, and workshops and practical training sessions on the other. Sarajevo Talent Campus aims not only to establish a network between young film professionals, but also to link younger authors with more experienced filmmakers. In that way, we offer our Campus participants a more complete overview of the current trends in the world of film industry.
