
4th Sarajevo Talent Campus Closed
4th Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sarajevo Film Festival’s Programme intended for young film professionals, launched in cooperation with Berlinale Talent Campus and International Film Festival in Berlin, closed on Saturday (July 31).
This year’s STC hosted numerous eminent professionals from the film art, among whom there were: Semih Kaplanoglu, Morgan Freeman, Gaspar Noé, Samuel Maoz, David Silber, Jasmila Žbanić, Leon Lučev, Lucile Hadžihalilović, Szabolcs Hajdu, Ágnes Kocsis, Katriel Schory, Nancy Bishop, Licia Eminenti, Frederic Boyer, Daniel Mitulescu, and many others.
65 selected participants from 12 countries of the South-Eastern Europe, and 10 young German producers, who had the status of guests of this Festival project, took part in the Programme.
At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the host members of the Sarajevo Talent Campus, and Matthijs Wouter Knol – on behalf of the Berlinale Talent Campus, addressed the present talents and guests of the Programme. Matrhijs Wouter Knol invited the participants of this year’s STC to apply for the forthcoming Berlinale Talent Campus as well.
Yuri Afanasiev, Resident Coordinator of UN to BiH also addressed the present. The MDGF Programme Culture for Development is the partner of the Sarajevo Talent Campus and Sarajevo City of Film 2010 projects. In his address, Afanasiev presented the joint partnership goals which the MDGF plans to realize with these Festival projects.
