Screening of the Film AURORA Directed by Cristi Puiu Took Place

Latest film by the Romanian director Cristi Puiu, AURORA, has been screened on Friday (July 30) within the “In Focus”.

Programme. This is the second out of a planned series of six films, inspired by a project by Eric Rohmer SIX MORAL TALES. The film had its premiere screening within the Un Certain Regard Section at the International Film Festival in Cannes.

Director Puiu – whose second feature film, THE DEATH OF MR. LAZARESCU, had a great success and won an impressive number of awards at the festivals all over the world – is this year’s President of the Jury of the Competition Programme – Feature Film of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
