
Film VEGAS the Winner of This Year's TeenArena
In the multiplex Cinema City on Friday (July 30) the best film of this year’s TeenArena Programme has been presented, and the award ceremony took place.
All the films from this year’s TeenArena were carefully attended by the seven-member jury consisting of: Dina Bašić, Alem Fejzić, Sumejja Podgorica, Riković Merjem, Berina Tozo, Emina Tulić and Mirza Krajina as the President of the Jury.
Led by the established criteria: quality of directing, acting, film’s massage, and picture; the Jury declared the Norwegian realization, VEGAS, directed by Gunnar Vikene, the winner.
VEGAS is a story about Thomas, Marianne, and Terje – three teenagers who share the same dream about finding the home, and together they take a trip of love, hatred, and trust…
In the Jury’s explication there stands that, beside it fulfills the conditions, VEGAS is a film which follows and successfully tells a story about which one can tell repeatedly. “In the conversation with the actors, we found out that the development of the film lasted four years, that the actors went through the entire analysis of the characters and events, a series of psychological exercises, and research in order that the main idea and message of the film be as clear as possible”, continues the Jury’s explication. At the award ceremony, leading actors Karoline Stemre and Jorgen Hausberg Nilsen were also present.
