ME TOO in the !hej Open Air Cinema
Spanish film ME TOO directed by Alvaro Pastor and Antonio Naharro has been screened in the !hej Open Air Cinema on Thursday evening, as the seventh film from the Open Air 2010 Programme.
ME TOO is an impressive social drama which brings us a story about a young man with Down syndrome who falls in love with his free-spirited and attractive co-worker Laura. It is a story about an impossible love and breaking the boundaries. A story which, instead of “happy end”, ends with the question: “Why all the efforts to be normal, when you cannot be happy?”
Director of the film, Alvaro Pastor, was also present at the screening of the film, whom the audience welcomed with a warm applause.
In the !hej Open Air Cinema, third film from this year’s Sarajevo City of Film Programme was screened as well. The film screened is SMART GIRLS by the Croatian directors Hana Jusić and Sonja Tarokić.
