Crew of the Film INSIDE AMERICA Held the Press Conference

At the Festival Square, on Thursday (July 29), crew of the film INSIDE AMERICA held its Press Conference. Film INSIDE AMERICA will have its premiere screening this evening in the National Theatre, as the penultimate film within this year’s Competition Programme – Features.

To the present at the Conference, the young Austrian director, Barbara Eder, accompanied by the other members of the crew, revealed many details about her first feature film. Among other, Eder said that the preparations for shooting lasted three months, and that in the research of the topic of the film the entire crew took part. In the film a large number of documentary materials were used, and Eder’s primary idea was making of a documentary film. However, at the end she decided to make an experimental form, in order to depict the documents in the film more dramatically.

INSIDE AMERICA is a film about young people trapped in passive and restrictive societies which can only destroy their dreams.

This evening’s world premiere screening of the Austrian film will take place at 8.00 p.m.
