CineLink 2010 Opened
On the sixth day of the 16th Sarajevo Film Festival the Co-production Market CineLink 2010 has been opened. The official opening ceremony took place in the Youth Center, with the presence of numerous guests of the Festival.
CineLink Co-production Market has been initiated in 2003 with the aim of development and financing regional cinematographies. During the eight year of its existence, this project has managed to grow into a renowned co-production market which in its developmental programme includes as much as sixteen countries today. CineLink has become a key spot for meeting of the film professionals from the region, but from the whole of Europe and world as well. About this, successes of the CineLink’s projects during 2010 tell the best.
Films HONEY by Semih Kaplanoglu and IF I WANT TO WHISTLE, I WHISTLE by Florin Serban won the First and Second Prize of the 60th Berlinale. And somewhat later, at the Film Festival in Cannes, films TUESDAY, AFTER CHRISTMAS by Radu Muteanu and ADRIEN PÁL by Agnes Kocis found their places in the Un Certain Regard Selection.
