
Films of the 2009 Sarajevo City of Film Programme at the Festivals all over the World
After their projection at the 15th Sarajevo Film Festival, short films shot within the programme of the 2009 Sarajevo City of Film, have been screened at the numerous film festivals all over the world, and are now looking at the very busy festival summer.
The film PINK RIVER is going to be screened within the competition programme of the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival – Frameline34, whereas the MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS will be screened within the competition programme of the Documentary and Short Film Festival in Kerala (India). Also, the film LIBERATION IN 26 PICTURES is going to compete for the award of the Tabor Film Festival in Zabok (Croatia), while the film WOMAN IN PURPLE is going to be screened at the Palm Springs International Short Fest & Film Market.
It should also be noted that the wining film of the 2009 Sarajevo City of Film, LIBERATION IN 26 PICTURES, has been screened at the prestigious Rotterdam International Film Festival, whereas the MUSEUM OF BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS won the award for the best film in the “Woman in Cinema” category at the Romanian International Film Festival in Arad.
Also, the film PINK RIVER was screened at the Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film and Video Festival, as well as at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival, while the audience had the opportunity to see all five films at the 10th goEast Festival in Wiesbaden.
