The Agreement on Cooperation signed by the SFF, the University of Sarajevo, and the Sarajevo Student Centre

Within the framework of the event under the title the “University Market Day”, held on Tuesday in Sarajevo, the Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Sarajevo Film Festival, the University of Sarajevo, and the public institution Sarajevo Student Centre, in the presence of many representatives of the academic community, students, business people, and representatives of state institutions as well as the most important institutions of culture.

The Agreement includes the cooperation between the three institutions during the Sarajevo Film Festival concerning the arrangement of special offer for students from all over the world, interested in visiting the Sarajevo Film Festival. In this way, students from twenty two universities – partners of the University of Sarajevo, are going to be provided with the special offer to stay in Sarajevo and visit the Sarajevo Film Festival.

According to the Agreement, the obligation of the Sarajevo Student Centre is to provide accommodation for students at the Students Dormitory “Nedžarići” and the Students Dormitory “Bjelave”. The SFF is going to provide special accreditations for all students enabling them to enter the screenings and attend the events within different SFF programme sections.

The aim of the Agreement is to strengthen cooperation in the fields of science and culture, establish connections between the youth from BiH and from all over the world, enrich the touristic offer of the City of Sarajevo, as well as to promote the Sarajevo Film Festival among young people who did not have the opportunity to visit our city and the most important cultural event in the region.

The Agreement was signed on Tuesday by Mirsad Purivatra, Sarajevo Film Festival Director, Faruk Čaklovica, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, and Emir Kadrić, Director of the Sarajevo Student Centre.
