Promoting the Sarajevo Talent Campus and the Sarajevo City of Film Project at the Berlinale Talent Campus

Organised by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Sarajevo Film Festival, presentations of the Sarajevo Talent Campus and the Sarajevo City of Film projects were held recently at the 8th Berlinale Talent Campus, which is taking place as part of the 60th celebratory Berlin International Film Festival.

Addressing representatives of the main partners of these two projects, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sport Gavrilo Grahovac, and the leading officials of the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Berlinale Talent Campus, as well as many talented film professionals from around the world, Manager of the Sarajevo Film Festival Industry Section Jovan Marjanović presented the aims and achievements made so far by the Sarajevo Film Festival in these two projects.

Marjanović also used the opportunity to invite talented filmmakers and film professionals to apply for participation at the Sarajevo Talent Campus, a film platform which, in the form of workshops and lectures by renowned film professionals, connects young actors, directors, producers and screenwriters from 13 countries in Southeast Europe. These young filmmakers were also invited to follow their participation at the Sarajevo Talent Campus by applying projects to the Sarajevo City of Film Competition, and thus get the opportunity to produce their short features.

Also presented at the promotion was the Co-Production Prize, an award provided by the Robert Bosch Foundation for the best project and film concept in the domain of short feature, documentary and animated films. Eligible applicants are young filmmakers from Germany and Eastern Europe wishing to cooperate in realising a joint film project.
