THE STORM in BH Cinemas from November 19

The film STORM by the eminent German director Hans Christian Schmid starts its cinema distribution at November 19.

Sarajevo audience will be able to see this realization on the regular repertoire of the Meeting Point Cinema, and parallel to the BH capital, the STORM will start screening in Zenica in the multiplex cinema Ekran, too.

World premiere of the film STORM took place at the 59th International Film Festival in Berlin within the main Competition Programme. Screening of Schmid’s film on this prestigious festival was followed by marvelous critiques, and three acknowledgments for the best film by Amnesty International, German Art Cinema Union, and readers of the newspaper Berliner Mogenpost.

Film STORM had its regional premiere on the past, 15th Sarajevo Film Festival, where it gathered great critiques, but also met big interest by the audience. For our audience this film has a special “weight” since it is a realization dealing with the Hague Tribunal.

Main characters were realized by Kerry Fox and Anamaria Marinca, and in the film there also appear a number of domestic and regional actors among which there are: Izudin Bajrović, Minka Muftić, Tarik Filipović, Krešimir Mikić, Leon Lučev, etc.
