6th Sarajevo Talent Campus Programme Announced

Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sarajevo Film Festival’s programme for young film professionals, which was established in cooperation with the Berlin Talent Campus and the Berlin International Film Festival, is happy to announce a seven-day programme of lectures, workshops, panel discussions and pitching sessions, intended for young film professionals.

This year, the 6th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be the host to a great number of  eminent professionals from the world of film, such as: Aida Begić, Peter Belsito, Nancy Bishop, Philippe Bober, Remi Bonhomme, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer, Zeynel Dogan, Licia Eminenti, Orhan Eskikoy, Cristina Flutur, Lucile Hadžihalilović, Olivia Hetreed, Ilian Metev, Sydney Levine, Kate Leys, Leon Lučev, Katriel Schory, Eyal Sivan, Todd Solondz, Cosmina Stratan and many others.

As it was the case in previous years, the 6th Sarajevo Talent Campus will be held during the Sarajevo Film Festival, between the 7th and the 14th of July. The programme of the Campus will be attended by 69 selected participants from 13 Southeast European countries, as well as by 10 young producers from Germany, whose attendance is the result of cooperation with the Robert Bosch Foundation.  Their presence at the Campus lays a foundation for possible future inter-European film co-production.

As of this year the participation in the Campus will, besides candidates from the countries of the South-Eastern Europe, facilitate those from four countries of the broader region: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Moldova, whose presence will enrich the Campus with their diversity in approach to the film art.

Also, this year, beside the already existing programmes for actors, producers, directors, and scriptwriters, the Sarajevo Talent Campus introduces the programme for film critics, in order to form a critical group whose work will in the course of time follow and improve the work of young film artists.

The aim of the 6th Sarajevo Talent Campus is to maintain the already defined balance between lectures, panel discussions and conversations on the one hand, and workshops and practical training sessions on the other. Sarajevo Talent Campus aims not only to establish a network between young film professionals, but also to link younger authors with more experienced filmmakers. In that way, we offer our Campus participants more complete overview of the current trends in the world of film industry.
