Films from the 15th SFF Competing for the Trieste Film Festival’s Main Award
21st Trieste Film Festival which takes part in the period January 22nd-28th will offer the audience total of 74 film realizations in eight festival sections. Among the films which entered the selection of the Festival in Trieste, there are numerous titles screened at the 15th Sarajevo Film Festival.

LIBERATION IN 26 PICTURES, the winning film of the Sarajevo City of Film 2009 Project will be screened at the forthcoming 39th International Film Festival in Rotterdam. This is a debut realization directed by Marko Škrobalja and Ivan Ramljak.
Two CineLink Projects in the Competition Programme of the 60th Berlinale
Film by the Romanian director Florin Şerban “If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle” has been selected for the Competition Programme of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. This news is of great importance for the Sarajevo Film Festival as this project has been developed within the Festival’s project CineLink.
Golden Moments for THE WHITE RIBBON
On Sunday (January 17) Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globe Awards took place. Among the winners, there was also THE WHITE RIBBON which won in the category Best Foreign Language Film. In the same category there were also: Baaria, BROKEN EBRACES, THE MAID, and A Prophet.
