Brucellosis is a very dangerous disease that affects sheep, goats and other animals and is transferred to people and very hard to treat. Until 2004 brucellosis was not significantly present in Bosnia and Herzegovina. But, with uncontrolled import of livestock that started this year, the spread of brucellosis suddenly boomed in this country.
