Fatima Djoumer worked for the Berlin International Film Festival before taking over public relations duty for the European Film Academy. 

In 1993 she became the Head of International Relations of Europa Cinemas, where she supports the worldwide distribution of European films. 

Europa Cinemas supports the distribution of European films outside their country of origin. It works with young audiences to develop their interest in European films.
