CORNELIU PORUMBOIU, PRESIDENT OF THE JURY
Director, Romania
Corneliu Porumboiu is a Romanian director and scriptwriter. Along with Cristi Puiu, Catalin Mitulescu, Cristian Mungiu and Razvan Radulescu, he is one of the most important Romanian authors who have won all the major film awards in just a few years. His filmography includes features: POLICE, ADJECTIVE, which won the FIPRESCI and Un certain regard Jury Prize at this year's Cannes Festival, and 12:08 EAST OF BUCHAREST; and shorts: LIVIU'S DREAM, A TRIP TO THE CITY, GONE WITH THE WINE, TELEPHONIC POST TEMPORARY SUSPENDED, LOVE...SORRY, GRAFFITI. His feature 12:08 EAST OF BUCHAREST, which opened the 12th SFF, won numerous awards at key international festivals, including Camera d'or at Cannes.

Dylan Leiner is. Involved with the acquisition and production of a broad range of films including IN THE COMPANY OF MEN, RUN LOLA RUN, THE SPANISH PRISONER, POLLOCK, DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS, THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE, CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON, CACHE, FRIENDS WITH MONEY, THE LIVES OF OTHERS, FROZEN RIVER, THE WACKNESS, RACHEL GETTING MARRIED, I’VE LOVED YOU SO LONG, THE WACKNESS, THE CLASS and WALTZ WITH BASHIR. Among the upcoming films with which Dylan has been involved are COCO BEFORE BEFORE CHANEL, BROKEN EMBRACES, AN EDUCATION, as well as Cannes Palme d’Or winner, Michel Haneke’s THE WHITE RIBBON and Cannes Jury Prize Winner, Jacques Audiard’s A PROPHET. Dylan has been named by The Hollywood Reporter as a member of its 35 under 35 “Next Generation Group” and by Crain’s New York Business among its 40 executives under 40.

EVA VEZER

Eva Vezer has been in the film industry and marketing since 1978 and her rich biography includes engagements for Budapest Film Distribution and Exhibition Company, UIP-Duna Film, where she worked on the establishment of the first Hungarian-American distribution company in Hungary. She is also member of numerous international organisations, such as Eureka Audiovisual, European Audiovisual Observatory, European Film Academy, European Film Promotion, MEDIA Committee of the European Commission, Experts’ Committee of European Cinemas. As of this year, she is the president of European Film Promotion.
