CineLink 2004
CineLink Awards 2004:
Main CineLink Jury has decided two following projects with awards of 25. 000 Euros each:
• Teah by Hanna A.W. Slak (Slovenia)
• The Dark Side of the Earth by Damjan Kozole (Slovenia)
In 2004 CineLink received more than 30 projects from all over the Southeast Europe as it opened up to the entire region. It is important to emphasize that the projects ‘Rules and Regulations’ were very much different than in 2003.
CineLink 2004 asked for complete film projects with producers attached, and some of the funding already secured and not only for the script, as it was the case with the previous year.
CineLink Selection 2004:
• Once upon a time in the Balkans by Saimir Bajo (Albania)
• Gravity by Blaž Kutin (Slovenia)
• If the Seed Doesn't Die by Siniša Dragin (Romania)
• Teah by Hanna A.W. Slak (Slovenia)
• The Dark Side of the Earth by Damjan Kozole (Slovenia)
• I’m from Titov Veles by Teona S. Mitevska (Macedonia)
• Love Sick by Cecilia Stefanescu and Tudor Giurgiu (Romania)
• The Love Fair by Dušan Milić (Serbia and Montenegro)
Jury also decided to recommend another 6 projects to be available for consideration of producers and fund representatives trough the CineLink Industry Office, but not to participate in the Script Development Program.
Those projects were:
• Apparition by Bato Čengić (BiH)
• Smoke of Tobacco by Izet Perviz / Ramiz Huremagić (BiH)
• Summer of '66 by Abdulah Sidran (BiH)
• The Lucky Ticket by Gorazd Trušnovec (Slovenia)
• Tourists by Svebor Kranjc (Croatia)
• Roosters Breakfast by Marko Naberšnik (Slovenia)
