How to get to Sarajevo...

By plane
From all parts of the world one can arrive at the International airport in Sarajevo, which is located less than 10 kilometers from the city centre, which represents a 20 minute drive. There is no public transport available, so the only way to reach the city centre is by taxi. One way ride to the city centre costs around 10 EURO. For its accredited guests, during the festival days Sarajevo Film Festival provides a shuttle service to the city centre and partner hotels.

By train
If you decide to travel by train, the best way is to travel from Zagreb (Croatia) which has a regular daily connection with Sarajevo. The travel time is between 8 and 10 hours. The Train station is located 3 kilometers from the city centre.

By bus
Sarajevo is well connected by regular bus connections with all parts of Europe. The routes are reliable and usually without longer delays. The Bus station is located 3 kilometers from the city centre.

By car
One can arrive in Sarajevo by car driving on clearly marked and well maintained roads. Two main entrances to the city are from the east and west. The traffic in the city is busy and one drives in the right lane. It is best to park in clearly marked parking lots with hourly/daily rates.
