Jury of The Competition Programme – Short Film
In the Competition Programme – Short Film of its 16th edition, Sarajevo Film Festival will present the best films from the region, which will compete for the prestigious Heart of Sarajevo award. The standing of the award itself is aided by the fact that the international jury comprises distinguished artists and prominent film professionals. 
DANICA DAKIĆ
Conceptual artist, BiH
Sarajevo artist Danica Dakić has been exhibiting her works all over the world. Although she graduated in painting, for a long time she has been dealing exclusively with video and sound installations. In her video, film, and photography works, Dakić explores the concepts of cultural identities, language, and history. She took part in many international group exhibitions, such as Documenta 12, Istanbul Biennial, Biennale of Sydney, and Liverpool Biennial. Her recent individual works include retrospective exhibitions at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, as well as exhibitions at Generali Foundation Vienna and the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Zagreb. She is currently a guest professor at the renowned University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
ERWIN VAN ‘T HART
Programmer of the Short Film Section at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands
Following his studies at the AKI Academy of Arts in Enschede, Netherlands, and the history of arts studies at the University of Amsterdam, Erwin van 't Hart worked at the Film Department of the “de Balie” Political and Cultural Centre. From this position he contributed to development of several short film and video programmes. After the engagement at “de Balieu”, he started working for the Dutch company dealing with short film distribution, Filmbank, where, as a curator, he took part in development and establishment of Dutch Experimental Film Retrospective Programme “D-Light“. Later on, he also participated in publishing of the book “MM2: Experimental Film in Netherlands since 1960“. In 2006, he joined the team of the renowned Rotterdam Film Festival. He is also active as a free lance curator, film technician and adviser.
MOLLY MALENE STENSGAARD
Film Commissioner, Danish Film Institute, Denmark
Molly Malene Stensgaard was born in Copenhagen, where she graduated in film editing from the prestigious Danish Film School. Her career is marked with the cooperation with the famous director and her fellow-countryman Lars von Trier. Working at almost all of his projects, starting form the series THE KINGDOM, and continuing with many awards winning films such as THE IDIOTS, DANCER IN THE DARK, DOGVILLE, MANDERLEY, THE BOSS OF IT ALL… she left a permanent mark in Danish cinematography. She was a lecturer at the International Feature Film Development Centre Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam, and in 2007, she was a member of the jury of the prestigious Film Festival in Berlin.
